Rebekah received her B.S. from Penn State University and went on the pursue her Master’s Degree at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA; She received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has worked with many different populations of clients during her time as a therapist. She has a background in working on an Adult Psychiatric Unit in the hospital, private practice counseling, and on-site trauma counseling. Her passion is working with individuals, couples, and families as they work through difficult seasons in life. Her background and clinical training include depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma, grief, marriage and premarital counseling. Rebekah works from a ‘Family Systems’ theory. This theory examines the individuals’ families and other systems because the individual is interconnected with larger groups and they cannot be understood in isolation from their groups. She also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques and tools for assistance in the healing process. Rebekah believes true healing is ultimately from Christ and she is passionate about including her faith in helping others heal. She resides in Allegheny county with her husband and son.
