Debra received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Art/Art Therapy Prep from Carlow University (1995) and her Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods (2014). In 2017 she received her Art Therapy registration with the National Art Therapy Credentials Board. She believes that individuals have innate God-given creative tendencies. Thus, she encourages others to embrace creativity to experience personal and spiritual growth. She enjoys using expressive arts to come along side people in their journey to experience life more fully, explore emotions and gain insight and healing. Debra’s interests include mindfulness, addiction and recovery, self-esteem, anxiety, abuse or grief and loss. Over the past years she has facilitated various art workshops that explore such issues and more. Debra is grateful and excited to serve with the CCC and to be a witness to Christ’s love and compassion.
