Monica Monismith, MA, NCC

Monica received her Master's Degree in Counseling from Geneva College in 2012. She developed an interest in the field of psychology in high school, and obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University in 1991. She then spent many years as a stay-at-home mom, raising three children. Monica is a PA Certified K-12 School Counselor and previously worked at a K-12 Christian school in the Pittsburgh area. She also has experience as a school-based therapist. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Monica's greatest passion in counseling is to help people develop a sense of life purpose and discover who they are created to be. Her areas of special interest include depression, anxiety, women's issues, domestic abuse, self-mutilation, sexual abuse, and relationship issues. Monica is available to see clients at Crestmont Alliance Church in Aliquippa, First Presbyterian Church of Beaver, and SOMA in Beaver Falls.
