Monica Monismith

Monica received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Geneva College in 2012. She developed an interest in the field of psychology in high school, and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University in 1991. She then spent many years as a stay-at-home mom, raising three children. After obtaining her graduate degree, Monica worked as a PA Certified K-12 School Counselor and also has experience as a school-based therapist. She is currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania.  She enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Monica’s greatest passion in counseling is to help people develop a sense of life purpose and discover who they are created to be. Her areas of special interest include depression, anxiety, women’s issues, domestic abuse, self-mutilation, sexual abuse, and relationship issues. Monica sees clients virtually.
