Priscilla Ortlip

Priscilla developed the Christian Counselors Collaborative (CCC) through the counseling ministry at Allegheny Center Alliance Church (ACAC). She developed, and supervised for the Student Internship Program at the CCC. She received her Bachelors in English at Houghton College (’75) and her Masters in Social Work at U Pitt (’86). She has worked in the mental health field since 1983, at Western Psychiatric Institute & Clinic, Magee-Women’s Hospital, and ACAC. She has supervised well over 50 masters level students in counseling from 1987-2016, and has served on the Supervisory Board at Geneva College for the MA Counseling Psychology Program. She is trained in family therapy, and specializes in trauma & abuse, family & relationship issues, anxiety & depression, and the application of Christian faith to the process of therapy. Priscilla attended ACAC from 1991 through 2019, and was on staff at ACAC from 5/1998 to 5/2018, and served on the leadership team there for 15 years. She is a native of NJ and lived in the Pittsburgh area from 1980 to 2019. She enjoys gardening, painting, beading, cooking, and spoiling her dog. At this time, Priscilla provides video counseling only.
