Sarah Mitchell, MA, LPC

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, Sarah is committed to providing high quality care to both men and women. She provides counseling for many of life’s challenges including trauma and abuse recovery, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss. Sarah takes a highly relational approach to counseling, believing that change happens when we are fully seen and known by others, and from that support can honestly look at ourselves and our stories. Because that support is foundational, her goal is to help you feel safe and heard so that you can begin the process of healing. Her trauma-informed therapeutic approach also combines practical elements such as building coping skills, developing emotion regulation, and, when appropriate, using EMDR therapy to support trauma recovery. She has a deep affinity for walking alongside the hurting and seeks to do so with all her clients as they grieve their pain and brokenness, and find hope and health.
