Steven Friebe

Steven was born and raised outside Minneapolis. He attended Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, receiving a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2010 and Master of Arts in counseling psychology in 2016. Steven has worked extensively with college students in both clinical and developmental capacities, exploring a variety of topics ranging from identity exploration to depression and anxiety to questions of sexuality. His passion is for working with adults of all ages who are seeking to better understand themselves and how they relate to their world around them. This is accomplished by investigating individuals’ underlying beliefs and helping to adapt the way we think to be more conducive to a positive outlook on life, all the while promoting an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance in the therapeutic relationship. Life can feel very heavy sometimes; it is Steven’s privilege to share your load for a little while.
