Angela Reckner, MA
Angela’s counseling career began when a Christian counselor helped her recover from postpartum depression that developed into clinical depression. That experience launched Angela’s growing interest in the field of counseling. In 2010, Angela obtained her Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Geneva College. Angela is a member of the American Counseling Association and is currently receiving Board Certified Supervision to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Angela seeks to provide consistent support and encouragement for each client to explore their own unique journey of healing and restoration. Angela has experience working with clients who are navigating diagnoses such as; Addiction (alcohol, drugs, food, sex), Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Autism, Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Self-Harm and Suicidal Thoughts. Angela also has experience supporting clients’ needs as they recover from the trauma of mental, emotional and physical abuse. Beginning in 2017, Angela has developed an increased focus on supporting those who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
Angela is available to meet with clients in person at Centerpoint Community Church in Monaca, PA. Online counseling sessions with Angela are also available.
