Cassy Wimmer

Cassy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania who has a passion for building therapeutic relationships with clients of all kinds, working with survivors of trauma, and facilitating therapeutic groups. She has a master’s degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Duquesne University. Having participated in ministries through church, adoption, foster care, and professional counseling, Cassy has grown skills and empathy for working through the effects of childhood trauma, depression/anxiety, relationship issues, and many other life circumstances. Integrating the Christian faith into therapy is something Cassy is trained to facilitate through the Healing Care method. Cassy’s clients can expect a welcoming and nonjudgmental atmosphere, a concentration on goals that are important to each individual client, and an emphasis on each client’s strengths.
