Nick Edinger

Nick is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Geneva College. Nick is certified in TEAM-CBT, the newest form of CBT based on the work of Dr. David Burns and The Feeling Good Institute. Nick specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and addiction issues by utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy as well as methods from other forms of therapy. Nick is passionate about incorporating faith into his counseling and loves incorporating spiritual direction into his work, believing that our mental health struggles can be an avenue to grow closer and feel safer with the God who loves us and cares for us. Nick wants his clients to develop healthy relationships with God, others, and themselves. Nick has been counseling in private practice for five years, and before that worked at gateway rehab where he mostly counseled individuals and groups struggling with substance use disorders.
